We try to use all of the leftover scraps from our textile production. When our cloth napkins and tablecloths are cut and sewn, there is loom waste that use we sew into these fabric hair scrunchies. We aim for zero waste in our production process.

Our weaving workshop is run by Felipe and his wife, Juana, in a rural community outside San Cristóbal de las Casas. Supporting over 15 families, the workshop employs local artisans and creates meaningful impact by ensuring each is paid at least the legal minimum wage. Fair wages, ethical practices, and sustainable development are central to the way Felipe operates.
