Handwoven in Northern India by a team of 40 artisans, these towels are a collaboration between makers and many hands go into the production of each piece. The yarns are dyed in our custom colors, the head weaver makes samples, and then each towel is woven in home workshops by weavers throughout the town. They’re super durable and get softer and more absorbent with use.

The artisans who create our textiles are based in Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, in northern India. The community is best known for its dhurrie rug weaving and copper work. More than 40 artisans take part in producing our kitchen towels—from dyeing the yarn to setting up the loom, weaving, and finishing each piece.
