California Sea Salt
California Sea Salt
Small-batch California sea salt, handcrafted along the Point Reyes coast, where Pacific upwelling brings deep, cold ocean water into Tomales Bay. The salt is harvested by slowly concentrating the seawater using wind and sun before finishing each batch by hand over a gentle wood fire. Every harvest is guided by experience and attention to heat, timing, crystal formation, texture, and flavor. The result is a salt that reflects both the place it comes from and the craft behind it. The crystals are light, delicate, and airy, with bright ocean character and a savory mineral finish. They dissolve cleanly, adding texture without overwhelming the food beneath them. Versatile enough for everyday cooking and distinctive enough for the finishing touch, Point Reyes Saltworks complements vegetables, eggs, grilled meats, seafood, pasta, salads, roasted potatoes, and fresh bread. For finishing — and everything before.
